🔗 The heritage of Trésor. La Nuit Trésor is a flanker of the legendary Trésor (1990), created by Sophia Grojsman, the «perfumer’s nose of the century», the author of the modern version of Chanel No. 5, White Linen and Paris by YSL. Trésor is one of the most successful women’s fragrances of the 20th century. La Nuit Trésor consciously turned the light, daytime romance of the original into a dark, nocturnal, gourmand one.

💜 The bottle. The bottle is the cut of a black diamond in darkened glass. The liquid is deep dark purple, almost black when held to the light. At the neck is not just a ribbon but a satin black rose on a velvet ribbon.

🎬 The face of the campaign. The face of La Nuit Trésor became actress Penélope Cruz, the face of the entire Trésor line since 2010. She shot for La Nuit Trésor more than once, the original 2015 campaign, La Nuit Trésor Caresse (2016), La Nuit Trésor Fleur de Nuit (2023). Nearly ten years of collaboration, one of the longest actress-fragrance associations in luxury. The original advertising campaign was directed by Rob Marshall, the Oscar-winning director of «Chicago» (2002), «Memoirs of a Geisha» (2005) and «Nine» (2009). For the La Nuit Trésor Caresse flanker (2016), the commercial was directed by Johnny Green.

How it sounds and wears. «Strawberry-nutty praline with black rose, frankincense and coffee» is a recognizable description. The start is juicy pear with mandarin and bergamot. In the heart is strawberry with black rose, vanilla orchid and passion fruit, sweet-berry «dark jam».
