According to Giorgio Armani himself, the idea of Sì was born as a tribute to his mother, who was in love with the legendary chypre fragrance Mitsouko by Guerlain, created by Jacques Guerlain in 1919. Sì is an attempt to rethink the chypre tradition for the modern woman, not through oakmoss and bergamot, as in the classic chypre, but through blackcurrant, patchouli and vanilla.

🌸 The fragrance pyramid. Top notes are blackcurrant, mandarin and bergamot. The heart is rose, freesia and neroli. The base is vanilla, patchouli, musk and woody notes. The key note of the fragrance is blackcurrant, it is exactly what makes Sì recognizable from the first breath, sweet and sour, slightly tart, with a characteristic «catty» nuance. The bottle combines strength and lightness, transparent glass with a pink nuance, a deep black cap reminiscent of bakelite, an early plastic that Armani has used in design since the 1980s, and two gold rings. These rings reference two characteristic details of Armani clothing, gold buttons and a chain belt.

🎬 Advertising. The face of the fragrance became Australian actress Cate Blanchett, whose elegance and independence perfectly embodied the spirit of the composition.
