🏛️ The Legend of Emporio Armani Because It’s You
Emporio Armani Because It’s You was launched in 2017 and instantly became a symbol of modern femininity. The composition was created by perfumer Anne Flipo, master perfumer at IFF (International Flavors & Fragrances) and one of the most sought-after female perfumers in the world. In our series she appears for the fourth time, after Lady Million, La Vie Est Belle and Olympéa, each time in a new team.
👫 The paired strategy. Because It’s You was created as a pair with the men’s Stronger With You, created by Cécile Matton. This is the classic Armani paired strategy, the women’s fragrance more intense, the men’s lighter. The ring on the bottle cap symbolizes the unity of lovers and unites both compositions into a single meaningful duet.
🌸 The fragrance pyramid. Top notes are raspberry, lemon and neroli. The heart is rose. The base is vanilla, musk and amberwood. Lemon in the top notes gives that very sparkling freshness with which the fragrance begins, without it the start would sound different. And amberwood, woody amber, in the base is a warm woody-ambery component that «gathers» vanilla and musk into a single enveloping trail.
💎 The bottle. The bottle was developed with the personal involvement of Giorgio Armani, who was involved in all stages of the concept, including the bottle design. Round glass with golden liquid and the signature ring on the cap. The golden shade of the eau de parfum is warm, amber.
🎬 Advertising. The original 2017 campaign was shot with Italian actress Matilda Lutz and James Jagger, son of Mick Jagger. Director Fabien Constant created three three-minute episodes, «Together We Are Unstoppable», «Together We Can Fly», «Together We Will Touch The Sky». The photo advertising was shot by Lachlan Bailey.
How it sounds and wears. «Raspberry jam with neroli and rose settling on vanilla and musk» is a recognizable description. The start is juicy, sparkling, raspberry with lemon and neroli.
